Medicaid Managed Long Term Care State and Plan Roles and Responsibilities Part 2

States must follow federal statutory and regulatory requirements in the design, implementation and oversight of Medicaid Managed Care Plans. Managed Care Plans, in turn, also have specific roles and responsibilities laid out in federal regulation, state regulation, and contract language. During this session, participants will hear an overview of such federal requirements, how states ensure compliance as well as how plans coordinate their various roles and responsibilities. AHCA/NCAL members will provide their perspectives on federal and state implementation of such requirements.
